The dress is casual for this service that weaves music from a variety of traditions into an upbeat order of worship. Piano, organ and various other instruments, augmented by a variety of soloists or vocal groups, help lead worshippers in giving praise to God. The casual atmosphere provides a non-threatening atmosphere for visitors to get a feel for the congregation. It is also a great alternative when you are not able to worship on Sunday mornings. The average attendance is about 40-60 people.

Sunday at 8:00 a.m.
This is a traditional service using Evangelical Lutheran Worship for its format. Primary musical accompaniment is provided by the 2732-pipe Bunn & Minnick organ. Good Shepherd's excellent handbell choir, as well as various soloists and instrumentalists, provide special music on a rotating schedule. It is a great service for people who like to have the rest of their Sunday available for rest and family time. Attendance averages between 40-60 people.

Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
The Family Worship Service (FWS) is a 30-minute worship experience designed for children grade 3 and under, and their families. Children can be children at this service! A simple message geared for young children teaches them (and their parents!) about God's great love and what it means for our lives. Easy, child-friendly songs like those sung at Vacation Bible School are standard fare. Children are encouraged to serve as ushers, acolytes and assistants at communion in order to help them learn about worship and discover how valued they are by God and the church. There are typically 30-55 people at this service.

Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
A variety of contemporary music is led by a Praise Team (vocalists) and a Praise Band that consists of piano, drums and guitars. A choir and other instrumentalists often bring their upbeat tunes, too. An average attendance of 175-225 people helps give this service a lot of energy. The order of worship is projected on a screen to allow fuller participation by worshippers. (Printed bulletins are available, however, for those who prefer them.)

Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
This traditional service also uses Evangelical Lutheran Worship for its format. Music is led by the 2732-pipe Bunn & Minnick organ, as well as the Chancel Choir, Children's choir, handbell choir, brass choir, soloists and other instrumentalists. Traditional hymns and other sacred music are the norm, although familiar modern music is also incorporated into the service from time to time. The 175-225 people who, on average, worship at this service find it to be an uplifting experience that helps them enter into God's presence through time-honored liturgy.
