Listen, God Is Calling!
Begins: JAN 20, at 7:00 p.m., wkly (Wednesdays, 6 sessions)
"As Christians, so often we want to do God's will, but it can be very hard to know how to connect the faith we profess with the daily lives we lead. This class will draw on resources from the church's heritage to help us bridge the gap that often exists between Sunday worship and weekday living and learn to view our daily activities from the perspective of our faith in God's active presence in the world. Come and learn some new ways to listen for God's direction in our lives 7 days a week--not just on Sunday."
The 6 topics of this study are: 1. The Sunday-Monday Split, 2. How the Split Came to Be, 3. A Resource from our Heritage, 4. The Value of Luther's Teaching for Today, 5. Strategies for Supporting the Vocation of Christians at Work, 6. Sunday and Monday in Sync. Join leader Jodi Keith for this enriching time of study and fellowship. Sign-up on the church lobby bulletin board or by contacting Pastor Jess, 891-1700x13, jabbott@goodshepherd.com
