Faith Formation for Youth
At Good Shepherd, we encourage families to slow down and practice Sabbath time together on Sunday mornings by choosing at least one of our worship services to attend together as a family.

An additional option for families to worship and engage in Scripture together is our Manna ministry. MANNA is a faith practice hour at 10:40am for people of all ages where we feed our faith and follow Jesus. Manna is a 50-minute blend of worship and education that will be active, hands-on and will equip your family to live faithfully in the world each week. Manna is hosted September – May.

LITTLE LAMBS: little ones currently enrolled in Preschool come together to learn of God's love for them through age-appropriate Bible stories, songs, crafts, and guided playtime at 9:30am on
Sunday mornings, September – May. Our Story and Music Enrichment volunteers visit our Little Lambs each week as well.

CONFIRMATION: 7th & 8th Grade students study Bible stories from both the Old and New Testament, as well as portions of Luther's Small Catechism, as part of Good Shepherd's Confirmation Ministry. This group meets at 10:45am each Sunday morning.

SENIOR HIGH youth ministry (known as The Flock) equips Senior High youth with ministry skills so that they can talk about their faith and serve others in order follow Jesus. The Flock gathers in both a weekly (9:30am on Sunday mornings, September – May) and monthly rhythm to practice faith skills, grow in leadership and serve others (refer to 2017-2018 Flock Schedule for more details and examples)
Purpose Statement

In our Faith Formation ministries, we equip parents and youth with spiritual practices and resources to help families discern God’s hope for the world so that they can share that hope with others and bless the world.
