But this verse reminds us to exhale our worries to God through prayer, and to focus on gratitude, which balance our petitions to Him. What we particularly like about this verse is to transform our concerns to gratitude. When we are focused on what we have, rather than what is missing, our stress subsides and calm sets in. Consider keeping a list or jar of the things you are grateful for, and when you are feeling especially anxious, look at one word from your thanksgiving list to help lighten your stress. We are thankful for memories with our family of four-some!
