For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them. — Matthew 18:20

Good Shepherd provides a vareity of adult faith formation and fellowship opportunities because we know that the road to becoming a disciple of Jesus is a life-long pursuit.  Whether it is a walk in the woods, monthly book club, or pilgrimage in Spain, you can expect to find something to help you connect with God and others at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Monday Morning Work Crew

Event date: 4/3/2023 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Export event

The Monday Morning Work Crew (MMWC) is a group of folks that serve at Good Shepherd by helping to maintain our building.  Typical projects could be replacing light bulbs, painting rooms, or assembling furniture or shelving.

The MMWC has also served by completing projects for some of our ministry partners.  They've helped Taft Elementary by creating plexiglass dividers during the COVID-19 pandemic and constructing several Little Libraries for use on their campus.  They've served at VBS by helping students create bird boxes.  In short, the MMWC is always willing to step up and serve in anyway that Good Shepherd asks and we are so thankful for their services to our congregation.

The MMWC meets on Monday mornings each week to take on the tasks of the day.  They generally serve from about 8 am to 12 pm, although start and end times vary based on the need of the job.

If you'd like to serve in this small group ministry, reach out to Pastor Alex.
