Good Shepherd provides a vareity of adult faith formation and fellowship opportunities because we know that the road to becoming a disciple of Jesus is a life-long pursuit.  Whether it is a walk in the woods, monthly book club, or pilgrimage in Spain, you can expect to find something to help you connect with God and others at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Adult Connect in January 2023

January 1st: No Adult Connect due to New Year’s Day

January 8th | Connections Café: Enjoy coffee and pastries as you take a moment to reconnect with GSLC friends after the busy Christmas season. Grab a piece of chalk and a written blessing for your doorway to mark the start of the Epiphany season in your home.

January 15th: Congregational Meeting

January 22nd | Graceworks with Mary Adams & Sandra Combs: Graceworks Lutheran Services faithfully cares for the needs of people in challenging and changing circumstances by providing a variety of residential lifestyle and programming options for seniors, as well as adults with developmental disabilities. Since 2020, GSLC has been intentionally building a more direct ministry with residents from the local Graceworks housing facilities.

January 29th | Camp Sunday hosted by Jen Jarman & GLSC Camp Counselors:  According to research conducted by Sacred Playgrounds since 2015, “The Christian summer camp experience impacts campers in positive ways that extends to their families, churches and others.” Various camp options, including camp locations and specific GSLC weeks will be shared, as well as GSLC-sponsored camp discounts.  Learn more about how attending summer camp has a transformational impact on faith formation at all ALL AGES of life.
