Caring for All Members

“Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others.” — Philippians 2:4

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church's care ministry, known as Caring for All Members (CFAM), provides support and care for the members and associates of our congregation.  A team of dedicated volunteers offer their time and talents to ensure that all members of GSLC are cared for in their time of need.

Below, you will find information about each of the distinct care ministries here at GSLC.  If you would like to speak with someone regarding a need you may have or information for how you can volunteer, contact Pastor Pat Badkey at

Bereavement Team

We know that God is with us even in the worst of times!  Our brothers and sisters at Good Shepherd walk in His way and want to bring us comfort in our time of trouble.

If your loved one's funeral will be at Good Shepherd and you would like to have a time together with family and other mourners at the church, GSLC’s CFAM Bereavement Team, led by Jan Zinnecker, will host a reception in the Fellowship Hall which can include a meal or just light refreshments.   Jan’s Team will secure the food you request, set up the dining area and serve the meal.

Contact Pastor Pat at or 513-891-1700 (x111) if you wish to have the loving help of the Bereavement Team.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. - Psalm 46:1
