Caring for All Members

Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others. — Philippians 2:4

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church's care ministry, known as Caring for All Members (CFAM), provides support and care for the members and associates of our congregation.  A team of dedicated volunteers offer their time and talents to ensure that all members of GSLC are cared for in their time of need.

Below, you will find information about each of the distinct care ministries here at GSLC.  If you would like to speak with someone regarding a need you may have or information for how you can volunteer, contact Pastor Pat Badkey at pbadkey@goodshepherd.com.

Hospital Callers

Hospital intake personnel may ask about church affiliation, but they do not notify us when you are admitted to the hospital.  If you are about to be hospitalized, or know someone who is, please let us know so that we may visit to provide support, encouragement, and prayers through the process.  While our Pastors make it a practice to visit all members when hospitalized, the Hospital Callers Team stands by ready to give aid and comfort throughout the process as well.  All Hospital Callers are either current or former Stephen Ministers, and as such are trained to provide a supportive ear and prayers with absolute confidentiality.

If you know of a member that is has been recently hospitalized or that will be hospitalized in the near future, please contact one of the Pastors at (513) 891-1700.
