Caring for All Members

“Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others.” — Philippians 2:4

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church's care ministry, known as Caring for All Members (CFAM), provides support and care for the members and associates of our congregation.  A team of dedicated volunteers offer their time and talents to ensure that all members of GSLC are cared for in their time of need.

Below, you will find information about each of the distinct care ministries here at GSLC.  If you would like to speak with someone regarding a need you may have or information for how you can volunteer, contact Pastor Pat Badkey at pbadkey@goodshepherd.com.

Transportation Team

Do you need a ride to or from church or medical appoints?  GSLC has a dedciated group of volunteers that are there to assist people that need a lift.  The program is open to adults and minors (if accopmanied by a parent) who are members and long-time associates of the church.  Rides can be to church, medical appointments, or other places with approval from the pastoral staff.  Requests for this service can be made through Pastor Pat Badkey at (513) 891-1700 (ext 111) or through the team leaders:  John Van Osdol, (513) 519-9008 or Herb Schneider, (513) 492-7561.

If you are interested in participating in this program, contact Pastor Pat for more information.  Volunteers cannot have any violations on their license, must possess a valid driver's license, and also provide proof of insurance.  These documents must be supplied to GSLC on a yearly basis to stay in the program.  It is also strongly encouraged that volunteers discuss discuss how participating in the ministry may affect their insurance coverage and liability with their agent.

Bear one another’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. - Galatians 6:2
