Children & Families

“Train children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray.” — Proverbs 22:6

The road into discipleship with Jesus starts at home for many of us.  Good Shepherd is committed to providing spirtual practices and faith formation resources to help children and famlies discern God's presence in their daily lives.  It is through a vareity of worship options, faith formation and fellowship events, and service opportunities that families build community and friendships and learn to share the light of God with the world.

Faith Milestones

Good Shepherd signifies certain moments throughout the development of youth as times to learn or celebrate.  From baptism to baccalaureate, Good Shepherd provides faith formation opportunities throughout childhood.

Manna is a our faith formation practice hour that equips our members to take their faith out into the world.

Summer Camp

Summer Camp offers youth and families some much needed space away from the hustle and bustle of daily life to explore creation and connect with God.  Good Shepherd offers two options for camp:  Camp Luther along the shores of Lake Erie and Lutheridge in the mountains of North Carolina.
