The road to discipleship starts at home for many of us.  Good Shepherd is committed to providing spirtual practices and faith formation resources to help children and famlies discern God's presence in their daily lives.  It is through a vareity of worship options, faith formation and fellowship events, and service opportunities that families build community and friendships and learn to share the light of God with the world.

Good Shepherd provides folks the opportunity to spend time outside and see the ways connecting with creation can be transformative in our lives.

Our first opportunity was held on November 6th and featured a hike at French Park located in Amberley Village.  18 folks (and one dog!!) explored the trails on a beautiful fall day.  Several hiking lengths were available for particpants to choose from with distances ranging from 1.5 to 4 miles.

Future opportunities will be held throughout the year.  The next planned opportunity was going to be Februrary for a "Frozen Feet" hike, but due to popularity additional hikes will likely be held in December and/or January as well.
