The road to discipleship starts at home for many of us.  Good Shepherd is committed to providing spirtual practices and faith formation resources to help children and famlies discern God's presence in their daily lives.  It is through a vareity of worship options, faith formation and fellowship events, and service opportunities that families build community and friendships and learn to share the light of God with the world.

Middle School Mix

  • What: Middle School MiX through Lutheran Outdoor Ministries of Ohio (LOMO)
  • When: January 7-9, 2022
  • Where: Lutheran Memorial Camp in Fulton, OH
  • Why: Develop new faith skills and make friends with other Lutheran youth
  • Cost: $80 (GSLC is investing $40 per student)

Get out of the building and into the mix during this high energy middle school retreat. This retreat will keep you on the move with campfires, hiking, gaga ball, 9 Square in the Air, team builders and other sport activities. We will have time for worship, Bible study, prayer and engaging discussion. 

Jen Jarman will be attending this retreat with the students; additional parent leaders are also encouraged to attend, including a male chaperone.

Participants are asked to stay for the entire event, so plan to commit to the full weekend experience. We’ll meet at GSLC at 4:15PM on Friday, January 7 and we’ll return around 2:30PM on Sunday, January 9.
