“Train children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray.” — Proverbs 22:6

The road to discipleship starts at home for many of us.  Good Shepherd is committed to providing spirtual practices and faith formation resources to help children and famlies discern God's presence in their daily lives.  It is through a vareity of worship options, faith formation and fellowship events, and service opportunities that families build community and friendships and learn to share the light of God with the world.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a five day program designed to bring kids closer to God in fun and exciting ways.  Through a mix of games and activities, singing, and silly skits, children get to learn about their faith and are able to take home skills they can practice in everyday life.

Good Shepherd offers both a morning and evening VBS program.  The morning VBS program happens throughout the course of one week and the evening program is one night per week for five weeks.  Both programs feature a "celebration" night where parents are able to hear songs and see what their children have learned throughout the experience.  The evening program also features an optional family dinner so that parents do not have to worry about rushing out the door.

2021 VBS is accepting registration right now!

If you'd like more information about the program or are interested in volunteering, contact Jen Jarman, Director of Faith Formation, at jjarman@goodshepherd.com.
