Next to the Word of God, music deserves the highest praise.  The gift of language combined with the gift of song was given to man that he should proclaim the Word of God through Music. — Martin Luther

Good Shepherd knows how integral music is to our lives.  It prepares our hearts and minds for worship.  It recalls memories of weddings or funerals.  It lifts us up.  It helps us take on the day ahead.  Ultimately, it brings us into closer relationship with God.

Good Shepherd is blessed to have a wide range of musicians that are willing to share their talents with our community and help us provide a vareity of styles of worship.  From traditional hymns and organ to the latest Christian-pop with guitars and drums, Good Shepherd has a style of worship and music that will speak to you and your faith.

Worship and Music Support Team

Good Shepherd is blessed to have a dedicated group of volunteers and staff that help bring our music to our sanctuary speakers and computer screens throughout the world.

Soundboard Operators - This group of folks runs the soundboard during worship services to ensure that we are provided the proper mix of instruments and vocals.  These folks manage both the in-house mix of audio that people hear in the sanctuary and the livestream audio mix that people will hear when the worship online.

PowerPoint Creators and Operators - Unique to Contemporary Worship, the PowerPoint team creates slideshows that provide lyrics to the congregation during Contemporary Worship services.

Livestream Video Operators - This is our newest Worship and Music Support Team and they provide the video and operate the worship cameras for all livestreamed worship services.

If are interested in learning more about our Worship and Music Support Teams or want to volunteer your time and talents, contact Scott Puthoff.  Training is provided!
