“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your

good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16

Good Shepherd is blessed to have a community that is dedicated to sharing the love of Christ with their neighbor through our active Outreach Ministry.  By earmarking 25% of our annual budget to Outreach, Good Shepherd is able to support a vareity of non-profit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, the Haitian Timoun Foundation, Graceworks Lutheran Services, and Adopt A Class.  In addition to providing financial support, members serve at organizations such as Matthew 25 Ministries, Tikkun Farm, and Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank to provide the labor necessary to further their missions.  It is through the generous support of our congregation that Good Shepherd is able to touch the lives of so many.

On Saturday, November 13, 2021, the annual Fall Rummage Sale returns. Monies raised fund the annual Christmas Angels youth service project in partnership with VEIL Ministries.

GSLC will accept donations on Thursday, November 11, and Friday, November 12 from 8 am to 9 pm. Please place items in the Fellowship Hall.  Please contact Jen Jarman (jjarman@goodshepherd.com) to have large items picked up on Friday evening, November 12th, after 7:00pm. We ask that no computer equipment more than three years old be donated, and limit adult clothing to two large bags per family.

Donating is a ‘win’ on so many fronts: You can clear the clutter and obtain a tax deduction for your unwanted treasures, others can enjoy something ‘new to them,’ and you help support a ministry partner! Thanks for your support!
