Outreach

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your

good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is able to commit 25% of our Annual Budget to outreach because of the generous support of our membership.  It is the reason we can faithfully support the mission of organizations like the Haitian Timoun Foundation, the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, and the Edge House (our campus ministry on the boundary of the University of Cincinnati).  If you’d like to donate to our mission, CLICK HERE.

Lutheran Outdoor Ministries of Ohio

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church has been attending LOMO retreats and camps since 2013 because we believe having a variety of opportunities for children and families to grow in faith together strengths our community of disciples.  These experiences offer youth and families a break from the hustle and bustle of life; a way to live life in a different way.  People are able to slow down, take a hike, or watch a sunset.  Families and youth make friendships and memories that can last a lifetime.

Because GSLC values the work that LOMO does, we provide an annual donation to their organization as part of our regular budget.  In addition, we want youth and families to attend these camps and retreats.  GSLC helps offset the cost of camp by providing families "camperships" - grants that families can use to reduce the overall cost of camp.
