Good Shepherd strives to provide a wide variety of opportunities for youth to engage and practice their faith.  From the prayer workshops for toddlers to senior high students serving folks in Appalachia, youth of all ages can find a way to practice discipleship at Good Shepherd!

Good Shepherd signifies certain moments throughout the development of youth as times to learn or celebrate.  From baptism to baccalaureate, Good Shepherd provides faith formation opportunities throughout childhood.

Family Connections

Family Connections

Families are an important part of everyone's faith journey.  As children, we learn about faith from our parents, grandparents, and friends.  As adults, we connect with other adults through the shared expereince of parenting.  Faith Connections is the way Good Shepherd nutures these relationships among our families.

Family Worship

Family Worship

Family Worship is a shorter worship service, designed with children in mind.  The worship service tends to be about 30 minutes in length and features a short sermon, music, and communion.  Family Worship takes place each Sunday at 10 am in the Fellowship Hall.

Kids Connect

Kids Connect

Kids Connect is a VBS-like Faith Practice Hour where kids from Pre-K through 6th grade will learn Bible Stories and rotate between different stations that feature a vareity of activities.

Summer Camp

Summer Camp

Summer Camp offers youth and families some much needed space away from the hustle and bustle of daily life to explore creation and connect with God.  Good Shepherd offers two options for camp:  Camp Luther along the shores of Lake Erie and Lutheridge in the mountains of North Carolina.
