Youth Groups

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. - 1 Timothy 4:12

Good Shepherd strives to provide a wide variety of opportunities for youth to engage and practice their faith. From the prayer workshops for toddlers to senior high students serving folks in Appalachia, youth of all ages can find a way to practice discipleship at Good Shepherd!

Senior High (aka "The Flock")

Good Shepherd's Senior High Youth Group, dubbed "The Flock", picks up where Confirmation leaves off. Sunday morning meetings/discussions are the cornerstone of the program. Senior High students can also expect regular service events, fellowship opportunities, overnight retreats, and summer trips.

Tweens

The first group many of Good Shepherd Lutheran youth belong to is Tweens. This group is open to youth from 10 to 13 years old (4th through 6th grades).
