Vacation Bible School - 2021

We are excited to host an in-person Vacation Bible School (VBS) program Monday, June 28 – Thursday, July 1, 2021.  We will offer two sessions:  one during the day and the other in the evening.  The daytime session will operate from 9 am to 12 pm; our evening session will operate from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Children ages Preschool - 6th Grade are invited to a fun-filled week at Crocodile Dock, where fearless kids shine God’s light!  During this exciting VBS adventure that follows Moses leading the Israelites to freedom, kids will discover God’s presence, power, love and care.

The Senior High Students are going on a hike!

Senior High students are invited to a stroll in Glenwood Gardens on Saturday, April 18th from 2 - 3:30 pm.  Trails are paved or gravel, although you may want to bring shoes that can get dirt/wet.  A small fee is required for entry ( for more information on fees).

AntiRacism 101

Learn more about systematic racism and how it affects our communities

Join Pastor Alice and Matthew for a 3-part introduction level course on anti-racism and systematic oppression.  Classes start April 7th at 12 pm and meet for 3 weeks.  Participants can expect each session to be about 1.5 hours.

Literature & Our Faith

GSLC's Monthly Book Club

Join Literature & Our Faith each month for a book discussion that is sure to be engaging and fun!  Even if you don't have time to read the whole book, the group wants you to join!  This group meets on the third Monday of every month.  For a current list of what they'll be reading, see the latest Shepherd's Horn.

Bible Babes

A bi-monthly Bible Study

Women are encouraged to join Bible Babes on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at 10 am for a time of Bible Study and fellowship.  Contact Jen Jarman if you'd like more information at

Moms of Faith

A small group for moms of school-aged children

Moms of Faith picks-up where MOPS drops off.  If you are a mom looking for connection with other moms of school-aged children, consider joining Moms of Faith for their regular fellowship meetings and Bible Studies.  For more information, contact Lisa Meili at

Walk Talk Pray

Get outside and enjoy God's Creation!

Walk Talk Pray continues to meet through the winter months, sharing devotions and hiking through the woods.  The group meets on Sundays, times and parks are determined based on current weather and park conditions.  To be included in the group's email list and updates on where they will be, email Tracey Long at  

Participants are encouraged to wear boots or hiking shoes, and clothing they do not mind getting dirty.  Trails are not paved, so participants should feel comfortable hiking on dirt, mud, crossing creeks, and traversing fallen branches.


A small group for moms of kids aged 0 through Kindergarten

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is a group dedicated to moms of young children find connection, fellowship, and rest during some of the busiest times of being a parent.  The group meets monthly on Tuesdays at 7 pm via Zoom.  For more information on how to sign-up, send them an email at
