Share God’s hope, healing and love with the world

Share your light with the world

We are called to serve people near and far so that they may know God’s hope, healing, and love in their lives. Whether in our building or out in the world, Good Shepherd is committed to helping you share your light and make a difference in our world.

Find your way to help

We believe you have unique gifts to share with the world, and you are called to serve in your own unique way. From supporting area youth at a local Elementary school to improving what people call home with Habitat for Humanity to bringing people closer to God by helping during worship, Good Shepherd has a way for you to make a difference in our community and the world.

Serve at any age

People of any age can make a difference in the world. We are committed to helping you show your children what it means to follow Jesus by serving others. Preparing crockpot meals for Tikkun Farm, sorting diapers at Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank, and making bookmarks for Crayons-to-Computers are just a few of the ways youth and families have served others at Good Shepherd.

Relationships matter

You can share God’s light by walking with people through the ups & downs of life. Caring For All Members (CFAM) is a dedicated group who share God’s love with the Good Shepherd community through 12 distinct serving teams. Visiting people in the hospital, helping with minor home repairs, and praying for the joys & sorrows in our lives are just a few of the ways you can make a difference in the lives of people who call Good Shepherd home.

Partner Organizations

Many organizations are doing amazing work in our community and around the world. We are committed to supporting non-profit organizations near and far to multiply the impacts of the generous gifts of the Good Shepherd community. Mothers of Preschoolers, the Haitian Timoun Foundation, and ELCA World Hunger are just a few of the organizations we support.
