Sing to the Lord

Share your musical gifts and grow in your faith by serving with one of our musical groups. Dr Kevin Seal & Ken Holdt are passionate about bringing the Word of God to people through song & music and will help you develop your gifts in a supportive environment.

11 am Choir

Share modern choral works and classic Lutheran hymns with the Chancel Choir. This group sings most Sundays at 11 am and on some holidays & special events. They rehearse weekly on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm. The group meets from September through May. The group is open to ages 7th grade and up. Learn more by messaging the group’s director, Dr Kevin Seal.

9 am Choir

Lift joyful noise unto the Lord with this all volunteer group. They primarily sing Contemporary Christian songs twice per month at the 9 am worship service. They rehearse weekly on Sundays at 10 am and meet September through May. The group is open to all people ages 7th grade and older. Learn more by emailing the group’s director, Ken Holdt.

9 am Worship Musicians

Bring the Word of God to others each week with Good Shepherd’s 9 am Worship Band. This band consists of guitars, drums, bass, keyboard, vocalists, and piano. They share contemporary Christian music each week at 9 am worship and rehearse weekly on Wednesdays at 6 pm. Musicians serve on a rotation through the year with schedules depending on how you choose to serve. The group is open to people 7th grade and older. Handbell Choir

Ring the five octaves of Malmark hand bells or full set of Malmark hand chimes once per month on Sundays at 11 am with the Chancel Ringers. No experience necessary to join, although a basic understanding of reading music is helpful. Anyone ages 7th grade and older may join (younger with approval). The group meets September through May and rehearses on Mondays at 6:30 pm. Contact the group’s director, Dr Kevin Seal, for more information.

Children’s Choir

The seasonal Children’s Choir is a great way for your children to learn about music. The choir performs several times per year, usually on holidays such as Christmas Eve and Easter. Email Dr Kevin Seal to learn more about when this group will begin meeting.
